few questions

Its my first time growing, and im going to grow up to twenty plants, for one, when should I start worrying about the smell, when their scattered through a 180 yard woods? Its going to be regs and mids and growing in central florida if that matters. I want to make this shit perfect so some questions might be a little dumb but i want to get it right.
How far in does a germinated seed go in the soil... also how far for non-germinated?
How much water for both methods for before it sprouts-when it sprouts- when nug grows-when longer sticks of bud appear?
Should I be specific where I water like I know to do it around the stem in the soil but i spend less water on the leaves so they have a better chance of becoming bud, and is it alright to water the flowers?
Ill have more questions, i had more questions but i of course forgot
