I have been growing for some time now and wanted to share my semi-homemade cabinet with everyone out there in cyber world. I have had great success with this design/ setup achieving better results with each grows. There is always room for improvement though... So I was wondering if y'all would be able to offer some constructive input into design/ best strains for this setup/ etc.
Cabinet specs:
Ikea cabinet to match the rest of bedroom furniture
Height 96?
Width 40?
Depth 23?
Air cooled 400w HPS for flowering (electronic ballast)
3 fans (2 blowing on the canopy and 1 under the canopy)
4 Air intakes w/ filters
T5 fluorescent fixture for veg area
2 Carbon filters (at exhaust) refill filter every few month with new pellets
Dual Dayton squirrel cage blower (for exhaust/ always on/ lubricate motor every two months) approx. 160cfm
4? axial fan (to cool HPS bulb) exhausting air outside
Mylar
Plastic lids (from storage containers, to catch soil run off)
PVC (connects T-joints together and placed under containers to allow for run off onto plastic lids)
Hanna waterproof PH & EC meter
Trellis (had to cut out because I needed to spray the plants in the tub)
Weather stripping and black duct tape to prevent light leakage
Nutes:
Bontanicare Pure Blend Pro line with botanicare/ organicare supplements (liquid karma, silica blast, humega, huvega, seaplex etc.)
Usually feed at full strength every other watering.
Recently started checking soil container runoff to monitor ph and ppm. Add lime when needed.
Last harvest I had 10oz of immaculate flowers (strain: bubblegum) this harvest I brought a NYCD and ChemDawg into the mix. 6 plants total
I want to start foliar feeding also!

The flowers are top shelf? but I need to get more in tune with my soil which I have recently been trying to do example finally taking its pH, not just the liquids I put on top of it.
