THE ONLY CABINET YOU"LL EVER NEED!!!

    Hello everyone,
I have been growing for some time now and wanted to share my semi-homemade cabinet with everyone out there in cyber world. I have had great success with this design/ setup achieving better results with each grows. There is always room for improvement though... So I was wondering if y'all would be able to offer some constructive input into design/ best strains for this setup/ etc.
    Cabinet specs:
Ikea cabinet to match the rest of bedroom furniture
    Height 96
    Width 40
    Depth 23
Air cooled 400w HPS for flowering (electronic ballast)
3 fans (2 blowing on the canopy and 1 under the canopy)
    4 Air intakes w/ filters
T5 fluorescent fixture for veg area
2 Carbon filters (at exhaust) refill filter every few month with new pellets
Dual Dayton squirrel cage blower (for exhaust/ always on/ lubricate motor every two months) approx. 160cfm
4 axial fan (to cool HPS bulb) exhausting air outside
    Mylar
Plastic lids (from storage containers, to catch soil run off)
PVC (connects T-joints together and placed under containers to allow for run off onto plastic lids)
Hanna waterproof PH & EC meter
Trellis (had to cut out because I needed to spray the plants in the tub)
Weather stripping and black duct tape to prevent light leakage
    Nutes:
Bontanicare Pure Blend Pro line with botanicare/ organicare supplements (liquid karma, silica blast, humega, huvega, seaplex etc.)
Usually feed at full strength every other watering.
Recently started checking soil container runoff to monitor ph and ppm. Add lime when needed.
Last harvest I had 10oz of immaculate flowers (strain: bubblegum) this harvest I brought a NYCD and ChemDawg into the mix. 6 plants total
I want to start foliar feeding also!

The flowers are top shelfâ?Š but I need to get more in tune with my soil which I have recently been trying to do example finally taking its pH, not just the liquids I put on top of it.
Thanks for reading everyone! Your constructive/ experienced input is greatly appreciated!

    Sweet setup!!! Similar to mine....

Only thing I would suggest is to run a couple more intake/exhaust ports through that window so that you can run Co2....could make 25-50% difference in yield if done right....

Also, if you're thinking about foliar feeding, might want to take the time to replace the Mylar with flat white paint or black/white poly plastic.... I found that the foliar spray tends to dry on the Mylar creating a fuzzy non-reflective surface that needs to be cleaned every so often.... I have yet to notice a difference in reflectivity using flat white paint and foliar sprays....not saying that the spray doesn't dry on the painted surface, it does, it's just not as apparent and doesn't affect the brightness of the painted surface....

Another suggestion - If you divide your flower space in half, you can harvest every month....perpetual....

appreciate it! that is definitely i great idea adding co2 injection. have you ever dealt with it yourself and if so what application worked best for you!? how could i run everything with the lights, temp, humidity factored in?

Use extreme caution with the CO2 and prefferably do not use in living spaces. CO2 can kill you and every other living person/animal in your house. I would suggest not using it in a living space, that is unless you dont want to wake up in the morning.

    Second to what tinytoon said....

However, if able to seal the room the cab is in, away from the rest of the living space/house, you can run Co2....just make sure you setup a vent system for the room as well as the cab....

How you ask.... You isolate the air cooled hood air flow....intake loop through hood back around and straight back outside.... Then have a dedicated intake and exhaust for the cab.... With a injection kit and Co2 bottle and Co2ppm controller, you can control the Co2 ppms in the cab.... I would exhaust every 4 hours of the 12on part of the light cycle....and don't let the Co2 run during the dark cycle.... And timers can exhaust and intake the cab.... Electric dampers that are normally closed would really help with sealing the ducting lines keeping the Co2 from flowing out on it's own....

So with some dampers, fans, timers, ducting and Co2 equipment, you can do it....

As long as it's not a living space....

Seal the box itself, ditch the airflow, and have a purge/refill system. If you want to maximize CO2 usage, you will need those temps inside to rise and allow the plants to have a good high level of CO2, around 1000-1500 PPM, as the increased transpiration and respiration will do the rest.

Remember to feed CO2 from the top as it drops.

Everytime I open the cabinet she comes running in the room to see what is going on and hopes to get a leaf or two  for some reason she thinks leaves are like treats lol
My ladies are currently late week 4. I recently switch to coco as I find it cleaner, more sustainable, and holds water better than the happy frog soil I was previously using. I bought another tent to expand my grow area. I was considering building the dwc bucket diy I found from rumpleforeskin on gardenscure. I just am kind of hesitant because hydro is less forgiving than coco/soil. I find that indicas/ hybrids work best for cabinets, but ideally a plant that stays short without to much top foliage as the lower nodes needs exposure also. The og strain I have is real hearty but the leaves are super fat whereas the dj shorts blueberry closely resembles the og but has slightly thinner leaves allowing more light to penetrate. I recently encountered some spider mites :/ shit is scary! To combat and kill them I use ultra pure by prescription treatment. Ultra Pure Horticultural Oil 98% 2.5 Gal | | Growers Solution

I was wasting money on that bs safer soap spray that didnâ??t get rid of any pests!! I would recommend this to everyone. Although it kills beneficial organisms killing the pests is top priority. I spray the bottoms of the leaves with a one gallon pressure sprayer. Way easier then using a regular spray bottle plus able to get a lot better coverage. I let the oil/water mixture soak in a bit then rinse it off with fresh water espically if I have to once into flowering. The active ingredient, petroleum oil was the only thing I read or found that actually does the job. I recently started brewing my own actively aerated compost teas to help promote stronger growth and eventually rely less on organic fertilizers to supplement what the lack of bio-diversity in soil didnâ??t offer but soon will. I am using ancient earth by GH and supplement that with azomite molasses and seaweed extract. Letting it brew for 15 to 24 hours then drenching and foliar feeding. I had a trainwreck plant that wasnâ??t growing, had super red steps and hardish leaves. Gave it a little azomite and the next day or two a few new green shoots shot out. Must have helped! I plan on watering weekly, using plain water one feeding, tea the next, and finally a little organic nutrients to do what the bacteria and fungus canâ??t.
I recently bought a 4 inch centrifugal fan to replace my 20 year old dual Dayton blowers that were used to exhaust the cabinet. This fan pulls air through two charcoal filter approx. 18x8 each and the air through the light fixture. Temps are hovering around low 80â??s when lights are on.
I am pulling air out of the room and exhausting outside through a 4 inch duct.
The light is sealed and exhausted separately. All exhausts connect to one 4 inch centrifugal fan to send it all outside. before it wasnâ??t vented outside and the heat from the 400w light and electrical ballast made the room temp a little to uncomfortable.
On another forum someone also suggested adding co2 but with this little space I have I would rather wait to do that once I actually had more space.
What things/ products/ techniques work best for you?

i am worried about my bubblegum plant. i have attached those pics to increase the odds of possibly identifying what the problem may be..... i might be a sulfur deficiency!?

they are growing in coco and are receiving a aact once a week, nutes between along with plain filtered water.

just tested the ph runoff of a fresh water rinse: 7.06
    and ppm was: 648
i feed heavy 16 bloom a and b and prime, humbolt's deuce deuce, ginormous, and honey.
the tea feed gets brewed with ancient earth by GH, molasses and sea kelp
