Those must be some terribly insulated apartments(I've lived in a few btw) but I think this guy is way over exaggerating the situation. My guess is he's gotten a whiff here and there and like many people he probably doesn't like or agree with medicinal cannabis so he's going to make a big deal out of this. I wonder if he's ever talked to the neighbor? If it's that bad maybe he can ask his neighbor to use his bathroom with the exhaust fan on? I know if someone came knocking on my door whether I was legal or not and made a complaint of this nature I'd try to do what I could to appease the guy.

An overwhelming and constant odor, no matter the source, is something to complain about. I would. Even if the smell was good (I like the smell of pot) I wouldn't want my apartment and building to smell like it all the time. Still, this seems like an issue neighbors should be able to agree without involving the police. Perhaps the patient might limit his smoking to certain hours of the day or explore smoke-free options in deference to his sick neighbor.

a vaporizor makes the smell no at all as bad and it goes away fast. I don't think you would smell it in the next room unless you were going nuts. I would assume this is a low income situation and a tool like a vaporizer might be tough for some to afford.

oh yeah! go on craigslist, rants and raves. you will see absolute hatred from misinformed people. its almost as bad as gay bashing hatred. even more so now that they cant do anything about it. only feds can arrest us
