A crappy looking clone from good genetics can still produce the same as the mother it came from, you just have to know what you're doing.... Even a "not so popular" strain can produce some bomb buds. The end product is all dependent on the grower....

If you want to be really picky about it, I suggest you find a local med cannabis distibutor and find out what is available to you, plant wise, then see if there is any useable buds of that strain to see if you like....
