Hello All,

I am new to being a MMJ patient and have never attempted a grow before. I'm learning all I can but with all the different types of lighting I'm sort of at a blur of how to start.

I thought I'd propose my needs and ask the community what they'd do. That seems best.

I am only planning on growing 6-8 plants. By law I'm allowed to have 12 (mature) plants, so I guess theres always room for more if my yields are great.

With that said... Space is not a concern and I plan to build very nice vegatative and flowering rooms with the help of an experienced carpenter. Currently I have laying around a fairly new, plug in style, T12 florecent lamp. It says though not to exceed 40W bulbs. Sounds like thats not a lot? Is this useable? I've also got a pool timer built into the fusebox courtsey of the old homeowners.

I'd like to go cheap on my inital lighting config. I can always bulk up in the future (when I save money from paying 'street' prices).

Can anyone reccomend what I should do given what I have, and what I need? Advice for the size of my rooms I need to build would be welcome as well!

Thanks!

Buddy
