when i look into the mirror,
see my eyes looking back at me,
i dont know what i am
or who im s'posed to be...
am i who i was at 7?
or even 17?
or in some metamorphosis
that i cant grasp it seems?
perhaps i'll find the answer
when this body fades to dust
and the enigma of myself
will be clarified and just...
for this flesh is not the answer
nor that which makes me whole...
i am more than this image peering back
instead a reflection of my soul.
