I got several questions for you if you dont mind. Whats your plan for this grow? Are you gonna run cfls for the whole grow? Whats the amount, wattage, and spectrum of the bulbs? What are the temps running in that cupboard? Do you have a ph meter to test the ingoing water? Are you putting in a fan for circulation? These things can make or break an indoor grow.

Before getting any bright ideas about performing advanced techniques (supercropping for instance) likely it would be best to learn how not to kill your plants, first.
Learn to walk before you fail miserabally trying to run.

Interrupted dark cycles stress the ladies. Especially later in it's lifecycle(s). Stuff like repetitive car headlights and light from another room can adversely affect (stress) the plants.

Read till your eyes bleed. Looking at pictures is cool, but the learnin's in the words.

    One plant per pot.

Unless they're femmed seeds, you'll get somewhere around 50% females.

You might want to check the grow log section and find a couple of grows that interest you as far as lighting and space.

    Pick the brains of winners.

Avoid over-complicating your approach, and avoid those that preach overkill. Some companies sell a product for every issue, and a product for every issue the first product caused. Keep it simple till you know what you're for and what you're looking at.
Avoid snake oils and garbage additives, especially if you don't know what's in 'em nor why you're using it. Unless you can afford to experiment on your meds, of course.

Don't let your parents catch you.

Ok well thanks..like I said I'm just learning and my parent knows btw lol its my first go at it I know the basics really, like making sure you've got fans, or for big crops carbon filters etc and I know u need the proper bulbs. And no I don't plan on keeping it under an energy saving bulb all thru cos it just wouldn't work lol a fellow friend was growing under four 600 watt bulbs ranging from lemon skunk to sensai star (hydro and organic) the change in a few weeks doing it hydro was phenominal compared to organic. I'm sure the hydro set up was called an 8 pot wilma system...The temp I'm not sure about that's why I do need a lot of advice and as u asked about the reason for growing is for personal use and I'm keen on seeing if I can do it myself rather than watching other people doing it xx

Hi I have a 400 watt mh bulb and was going to use this in the veggie stage but I have been told that's during flowering stage that I could use hps and mh is this true and would it create a bigger yield also is it true that sativa plants seem to take a stretch a lot more than indica plants? If so how can u stop the growth if it gets out of hand xx
