a very interesting issue..if they make him take his standard meds and he happens to seize..it's going to be a problem, letting him smoke in jail is another problem. The way I interpret the lawis that it has to be specifically excluded, as is ingestion on public transportation etc etc etc. A judge is going to look at this and decide based on the actual wording of the law.

My guess is that will have him ingest in the infirmary...if the judge blocks it, it's going to make for interesting reading how he's overturning a state law, since state run jails do not appear specifically excluded, now if it was a federally run facility, there would be no question whatsoever.

me smell a lawsuit of they refuse him...a bigger lawsuit if he dies and it's proven that he had a correct does of his prescribe pills in his blood stream.

I suspect the result will be the law will be amended to add state run incarceration facilities to the list places where ingestion is not permitted.
