AM currently planning to grow in a cupboard wiz dimensions 100x50x160cms (LWH) and i need help in choosing the correct light for that particular small space. Thnx in advance

400watt, just make sure you can keep the area the proper temps. I used to grow with a 400watt in a 2x2 area. your area is around 4.5 ft^2
400 will kick ass. check out my old purple diesel medical grow, I think the link is in my sig.

edit: if you think cooling will be a problem the 250 will do great giving you about 55watt/ft^2

What are you going to do to keep the temps in check?
I am thinking the 250 will be ok. Less trouble making things more fun.
Is this your first grow?
I know at first I recomended the 400 but I am kinda second guessing myself now.
Mabey knowing a bit more about your plan would help us decide.

edit: I also did my math wrong. lets do this again:
100cm=3.2ft
50cm= 1.6ft

3.2ft x 1.6ft = 5.12 ft^2

250watt light ----------> 250watt/5.12 ft^2 = 48.8 watt/ft
400watt light ----------> 400watt/5.12 ft^2 = 78.1 watt/ft

yeps kinda my first grow..well for cooling am using 2 ordinary fans and 2 pc fans for exhaust.. and how many plants can i grow in there wiz the 250w ? thnx for ur help bro,kinda appreciate it god bless

the 250 watt will be great.
I don't know how many plants you should grow. That all depends what kind of growing style your into.
IMO: Since it is your first grow I would just grow a few plants under that light and start flowering when the are about 20-25cm tall.
They are going to stretch when you start flowering, they will double in size, some strains will even triple there size the first two weeks of 12/12
make sure to keep that in mind
Keeping it simple is always best, especialy for a first grow. You want this to be fun so it helps inspire you to keep growing.
