putting rocks in for drainage is BAD BAD BAD. it doesnt alow for drainage, it raises some kind of water level in the dirt and doesnt allow the roots to go deep enough into the soil to do what they are supposed to do. so when it comes to rocks JUST SAY No!!!

as far as the number of plants for a 4x4 area, I would put 4 please in that area.

where are you that you are allowed to grow outside??
donnachris Reviewed by donnachris on . Outdoor grow setup I just got some purple power feminized, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to plant the seeds. The soil around is okay, but i thought I'd bring in some of my high quality potting soil. I think i'll dig a patch about 4x4 feet and one foot deep, and fill the bottom with gravel for good drainage. Then I'll mix the potting soil with the soil available from the site. Does that sound like a good idea? I tried to post on the other thread but I think it was the wrong place. What outdoor setups Rating: 5
