ok where to start...first let me try n get the pics up.....
where to start....
this is my first attempt at hydroponics. deep water culture. i started the clones off in a homemade cloner. they rooted in a little over a week. i put one of the clones into a homemade bubbler. both pics attached. the other clone went into the old school soil method.
i went to the local hydro shop and purchased a "starter kit" of 3 botanicare products. Liquid Karma, Pure Blend Gro and Pure blend bloom... started usin those....
i didnt start this log when i started the grow so i got more posts comin right upThaFooT Reviewed by ThaFooT on . ok i got some questions....
from my other novice grows ive noticed the main fan leaves turn yellow after it starts flowering.....my fans are yellow and crispy. i could crumble it if i wanted. usually when the leaf was that dead i would tug it to see if it tore away, these do not. all the new growth is green and veggy. although i did notice the bigger leaves comin out of the buds have a tip of crispyness......any advice?
it makes me wonder about this: on the back of the Bloom nutrient, it calls for a Veg dose....the guy at the hydro shop said u dont have to add that while in full flower. thanks!

Hey Foot,
Yes the fan leaves start to yellow, but usually around the last few weeks. If they are in the early stages with curly leaves and are crispy = heat burn
If healthy and just folding upwards toward the light = needs more light
Keep it green Bro

im at week 5ish. the leaves r crispy. i could easily crumble them BUT they do not easily pull off the plant so i leave em on. my light is almost 2 feet away and i got a fan pointed at the top of the plant/the light.
on a different note. on my DWC bucket i have a tube that comes out of the bucket for easy water drainage and its a level indicator. i got some algea growin in it. im going to cover it up with somethin from now on but im wonderin what kind of problems algea causes. thanks.
