Glad to be here.
I'm new to this forum, but had to join after seeing the good advice offered by some of the users. I am never very good at introductions but here goes. My name is Mike, I do not live in a medical state YET, I do however grow in a medicinal state and am on a constant search for those rare strains, as all of us are. I also do not use my product, I stopped smoking in 1988 after graduation due to a killer job I got working in the oilfield manufacturing industry, just cause I don't smoke does not mean I can't grow, my work that I am most proud of to date would have to be my Blockhead seeds, I was lucky enough to get a gift of several SOL BH regulars and I did my own IBL of these. I have grown 14 different strains over the years and I have to say I am most impressed with the BH, and after careful work and extreme attention to small details I believe I now have some of the best medical herb out there, I do not mean that as a challenge, that is just IMHO. My mother is working real close with our city council and a Tx state rep. working up a proposal to attempt to make Tx a med state, she is handicapped and has found that hemp oil allows her to go through a day pain free. Thank you to all who pioneered the house bills that started this green ball rolling, keep up the great work, and never hesitate to ask me for help if you need it. Thank you. Mike

Glad to be here.
mcumming: Welcome and will look forward to some grow logs: My addiction is in there: Get some posts going so you can show us what and how you do it! It is nice to know someone is helping the handicapped and family. I can't imagine growing without testing! It seems the pleasure is in both, to me! Hope you stick around, my other pleasure is activism in my state (Southern California)! Even though it is, basically, legal-there are always problems! Glad to see your Mom is working for legalization. Seems to be a uphill struggle. Activism and growing are difficult!
