urine test in 1 1/2-2 weeks...ideas?

let me start off by saying i have read thru all the stickies and a lot of the threads and i just keep getting confused. I have been smoke free for 6 days as of today and i have to take a urine test at a lab for DOT/coast guard (i am not going in the coast guard but it is a marine job therefor it is done thru the coast guard?) in a week and a half maybe 2 weeks.

i took one of those drinks before the pre-employment screen and i guess i didnt do it right b/c after 2 wks on the boat they let me know that i had failed the test and laid me off. i am now meeting with counsler (sp? lol) and am being given another chance.

i am 32 yrs old 5'10 about 185-190 lbs. i was a heavy smoker up to 2 months ago. after i took the original screen i was clean for 30-35 days as i was on the boat and such. when i got fired i did not know i would have a chance to get the job back so like a moron i started getting high again ( yea i know, sick responsibility). i feel like im rambling so let me get to the point.

what should i be doing besides not smoking obv in this week to 2 weeks to help me speed the process up.

i guess what i am trying to ask is should i be taking vitamins daily for this time period? and if so do i stop taking them at anytime before the screen?

i was never the type to workout alot but i am active and i live in MS so it is hot as fire outside lol.

certain diet i should be doing during this time? and if so do i change it before the screen?

I am giving weed up as i am not getting any younger and i really need this job. I know i will be popped more than usual after the initial re-screen b/c I failed the original screen so i really need to get my system clean.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you for your time and i am sorry if i am rambling

If you are indeed taking a DOT-regulated test, consider substitution with either a clean persons urine sample or synthetic. DOT tests are not observed unless you have been suspected of tampering, or if its a followup/return to duty test after completing the SAP process as required by the Agency regulations.

it is a return to duty, i failed the 1st one as i stated so i am thinking they may watch or whatever. I cant afford to spend 100+ on synthetic or whatever as the counsler fee is $375 and now i just found out i have to meet with another guy so he can "educate" me (lol) and that is going to cost another $150.

what i am asking is there any vitamins/diet/activity i can be doing to help speed the process up?

this is for a towboat company so i assume it is a DOT or whatever as i know they reported the test failure to the Coast Guard and that is why i have to go thru all these counslers. Not sure if DOT/Coast Guard is same thing.

Exercise is the only proven way to expedite THCA unloading.

Have youve been testing yourself with a THC test kit?

Three days before the scheduled U/A, test yourself using the first urination of the day. If youre still testing positive, then stop all exercise and be as dormant as possible until after the U/A. Read posts #2 and #6 in this thread: http://boards.cannabis.com/drug-test...a-shocked.html

no i have not tested myself, as i know, well i am sure, that i am hot.

ok cool, thats what i was wondering, about stopping 3 days before test. Would it be best to not eat alot/eat healthier during this week and a half? I eat alot of fast food as i am lazy lol. i know that was asked in the post in above thread but you didnt answer that.
