Help a Hydro Newbie Out
Cangroit, thanks a lot.
Each tray (4x4) will have a 600w light over them. Thought about going 3x3 for the 50w per sf, but I've seen some good 4x4 grow with 600's.
I guess what I was trying to say:
With zero veg how many plants would you place in a 4x4 with a 600w? A pound has become my standard.
Also when I take the cutting out of the cloner I basically bury them in the pots with hydroton acting as the soil? Or do they need to have rockwool holding the roots?
As I said before I'm a hydro newbie..

After the cuttings have roots and there ready to be placed into ebb n flow system, should I use pots filled with Hydroton or something else? What size pots would should I buy if going straight from cloner to flower? SOG style. How often would you flood this system? What size res do I need to support a 4x4 tray? Rating: 5
