    ROFLMAO...Good one!

The biggest question here is how many soal panels you will need to produce enough wattage to be self sustaining(if that is your goal) from what I've researched the biggest factor is the quality of panels you choose and the quality of your inverter. If you go cheap you will be be getting a smaller return on investment because power potential is not fully realized. The batteries are another factor, you can't just go buy a few WallyWorld MAXX batteries. I'm not an electrician but you can probably research on the web the formula needed to determine what you would need in terms of wattage panels and an inverter. I believe I read a site that recommended no lower then a 4000W inverter and newer technology panels are much more efficient in terms of the amount of wattage they convert and last longer. Then you would probably have to consider the most efficient lighting system, probably LED as it draws the least wattage vs light produced. If you went straight LED lights you may not need to produce as much wattage from your system.

Wind power is a different animal all together and more hit and miss, the sun rises every day even when it's cloudy.

Then you have to factor your total up front cost and how long it will take to pay off your investment.
