Question, about length of...

Greetings Hydros ! So so ! ...length of time buds / flowers should be allowed to
well, flower ? Should one go ONLY by the trichrome stages ?

I'll try and post some photos, maybe someone will recognize the little white hairs sticking up from these once collapsed little buds. Should i harvast only by the
color of the tri's ?

color of trichs is pretty much the only way that I know of to time or gauge when harvest should take place.

Too bad cuz'n they are like i've never seen before ! I'll keep working on the
" computer operator malfunction " problem and post'm at some point.

I gotta say though, wow, pat me on the back and everyone here, cuz
this was my school, right here ! Yeah, my second grow !

Ok so i see the photos have loaded !

OH meant2 say about 1) the chain is weighing branches down, away from the lights, of course.
2) Notice the lack of leaves... i did hrs of " weeding "
3) these are Lemon Haze and OG Kush

...getting rid of most of the leaves serves many functions but most importantly,
encourages additional growth... this is actually started in vegetation and by the time we get to this stage,
look how those frosty colas had benefited !

How many day's have they been in the flowering stage?

BTW, I checked the trich's about every other day after 9-10 weeks, crystal clear at 9 weeks, 10 weeks they were milky with an amber trich here and there, by 11 weeks the trichs were all turning amber.

Hello PD,
these have been in flower for about 55 days ! So it seems they have matured too fast. Cuz,
looks like they grew to fast for the trichomes to accumulate ? Cuz the resin / tries, is a bit less on some of
the buds on top.... up close looks like more flower and less resin ! I don't know ?
I might be wrong. But um very pleased with the results anyway !

How do they look under a microscope? This was the first time I used a microscope to look at the trich's, I've had it around but was unaware of this method until I was on this site a few months ago. Strains vary so I don't think there is an absolute pull date, I had three strains out of 6 plants, I pulled them all within a week of each other.

Radio Shack has a digital scope you hook right up to computer for around $70 and with a 32" monitor you can see things REAL close lol
