WELL! Found a male plant today(arghhh) this damn weather has my plants dancing on the edge of veg/budding, my friend a few miles away said her 8" plants are budding. Fortunately I weeded out one male and upon close examination I don't see any other indication of the others turning male on me but this was the largest of the group. Broke my heart to cut that beast down! I'm going to keep leaving the patio light on them at night for another week or so just to be safe.

Generally by this time of the year we would have had a good solid month+ of good sunshine but with the crazy weather patterns this year it's been hit and miss. We had extreme weather a few days ago resulting in heavy pounding rain/hail even a tornado touched down a few miles away. I was able to cover up a few plants but helplessly stood in the rain wondering if there would be any damage. They seem to have pulled through ok even with a layer of hail covering each container.
