If Obama gets a second term, I will completely believe that our voting system is just a front to make us citizens think we actually have a say in who gets elected into office as president. Personally, I think the president is chosen by, super filthy not in touch with common reality, corporate greed business leaders. These same people who choose the pres, have him do their little dirty work to get contracts with other countries...
The worst of these people are the bankers who want a one world currency.... Obama is in the driver seat of the US bus and he is taking us straight to a "new world order".... Can't wait til this old idea dies along with the old farts who have been working toward this "new world order" for decades....
Obama getting a second term certainly doesn't have anything to do with the vast majority of folks who think he's doing an average+ job, which is what most people hope for in a candidate.
Dude, have you not been paying attention??? He rode his whole presidential campaign claiming that he was going to cut the national debt in half by his second year in office.... He has done quite the opposite.... Obamas administration has added more national debt than presidents Washington through Reagan, COMBINED!!!! Obama is definitely not working for the average American. What kind of president would go to a foreign country and tell them that the US wants to be their best petroleum buyer??? Hello, we have our own petro under US soil and he goes to Brazil to tell them to dig for more oil. I thought he wanted to create jobs, oh wait he is, just not for people in this country.... And BTW, since Obama took office, this country has lost 3million+ jobs. The US economy requires 100k new jobs each month just to sustain our population. In my opinion, Obama has not proven to be a true patriot....because he definitely hasn't done much to improve the position of this economy. And if you think that this whole economy crash just happened and it was inevitable, you have much learning to do, economics 101.... I'm still waiting for Obama to go on a US tour to find out what he can do to jump start our economy, until then I'll believe he doesn't like America....
Obama is going to go down in history as the worst president ever!!! Too bad that he happens to be of a non white skin pigment....

is this all we hope for, mediocrity and the temporary alleviation of our pain? our present pretender to the throne has certainly shown us the former in spades, but even his attempts to placate the masses have fallen short. his flagship legislation, obama-care, has been shown to be a major boondoggle. his expansion of the welfare state has driven us further into debt and done nothing but provide chump-change for the average joe. he caters to the worst elements of labor and ignores the needs both the taxpayer and the businesses that spur our economy. he has managed to alienate long time allies and embarrass the nation at every turn, denigrating america's accomplishments and bowing before our enemies. his entire presidency has been little more than a populist campaign for a second term. he has failed at everything he has turned his hand to, but at least he has looked good while doing it.
no, we need more than mediocrity to bring us out of our present tailspin. we need someone who isn't afraid to tell us that we have to endure the pain to regain what we are in danger of losing, not just another glad-handing statist. we need someone who embraces the hard decisions. we don't need a cowardly tyro who tries to solve our problems by throwing money at them, money we simply don't have.
he has my vote, and i'm not super filthy rich..
he has the vote of the poor and the ignorant. he can count on the votes of black america, socialist america and the fools who look no farther into the future than tomorrow's breakfast. the votes he is losing are those of middle america and those with enough foresight to realize his agenda is to turn this country into a shallow imitation of europe's failure. the 2012 election will be a battle between the children and the adults. on the one side there will be the self-loathing, the indolent and those who have simply given up. on the other will be those who feel that traditional american values are still worth fighting for. we have yet to see whether the latter will be given a candidate to vote for.
A lot of people want to blame Obama for the situation we're in now and I don't blame them, I don't like the guy either. But he only has a small part to play in this political theater. Congress is the real culprit. Absolutely no changes have been written to address the rape of the AMerican people by the banks and wall street. Nothing has changed so we're going to have collapse after collapse for the fore foreseeable future. And there is nothing you can do about it except revolt. Quit voting, you're vote doesn't count when the elections are rigged with thugs in both parties.
This is going to be a bit of an eye opener this summer for Americans but next summer is going to be even worse. There is no room for growth and even if there was we don't have the energy resources to fuel it. Get use to it or fight back.

of course we can't blame it all on bam-bam. we can't even blame it on the pelosis, the reids, or the countless other opportunists of the statist left, but we can blame them for continuing and accelerating our dangerous slide into insolvency. we can blame them for abandoning even the facade of adhering to this nation's basic tenets and selling it to the public as "for their own good". we can blame them for the willful attempt at the destruction of any semblance of a free market and the messiah, as the de facto leader of their party, must bear the lion's share of that blame.

is it rape when you simply lie back and spread your legs? the american people have been running around screaming "fuck me" and then bitching about the results of their own idiocy. greed is a universal factor, but we only see it as a fault when someone else profits from it. occasional collapse is inevitable, but demanding recompense for every downturn has fed our avarice and amplified its consequences.
There is no room for growth and even if there was we don't have the energy resources to fuel it.
bullshit. there is always room for growth and our untapped resources could fulfill our needs for quite some time. all it takes is the will, the adaptability and the proper atmosphere. we have shown we have the will and the change is ongoing, but the government's hostile attitude toward business that does not cater to the state's desires is making growth next to impossible. the state's insistence that it be an integral part of growth is chasing business out of the country and giving industry ample reason to give expansion a second thought. government is not the partner of business. it is only there to see to it that business does not ride rough shod over the rights of others.

The problem with "Obama bashing" following the the midst of the biggest financial recession since the 1930's is that it is nothing short of disingenuous. Not only did government revenue as a % of GDP fall from it's historical average band of 18.5%-20% to 14% while social safety nets (which are designed to catch those who truly fall) were swollen from 10% unemployment.
Therefore, you cannot cut government spending during this stage of the recovery without invoking another recession which is why your argument is quite invalid.
