Oh it has buds. If you read my message properly you would see that I said buds are into the 8th week. They are two colas at least 15 inches long and 4 inches in diameter with lots of trichromes. I indicated that the strange growth was growing next to the hairs (pistols) from these huge crystally buds. You aren't talking to a novice. Males end up in the mulch pile. Please people, respond after you have digested the question.

Anybody got a clue what these little growths may be? Looks kind of like a tiny little finger nail. Maybe it is just a natural part of this particulat flower. I will see if I can get a good picture.

Hey, BabBong, Is a male flower just another term for a male plant? If not what is a male flower?
jamaican golf Reviewed by jamaican golf on . unususal growth Into budding 8 weeks and getting all puffed up. Out of nowhere several little finger-like growths appear where pistols normally would grow. I am wondering if these growths may be pollen sacs. They do not look like a typical pollen sac. I have plucked several from the plant when they first appear and they do not seem to contain pollen. What are they? Are they pollen sacs and if so should I pluck them or leave them alone? Rating: 5
