weedelacer was banned over 1 year ago by another mod...ask him why.

but i'll ask you guys now...why do you even care after a year has gone by? where was your concern when the mod originally banned this person? are you just looking to stir up shit or do you have genuine concern for this person? what's the deal...?

and i'm all for making everything public...including the ban list. if you were as observant as you seemingly want to be you'd know i posted the entire ban list a couple weeks ago...

I agree why bring up old shit? Anyways yeh i rember you posting the ban list, but wasnt it only up for like a day and then it got deleted? Cuz i rember looking for it again and couldnt find it.

it was a management decision to remove the list...my bad for posting it and got spanked for doing it (nah, not really); but i still don't see why the need to keep it secret...it keeps us (the mods) "honest" and the members informed about who did what when.

Yeah i thought it was something of the sort, seeing as i didnt think you would remove it. Lol you know you wish you woulda got spanked del... cmon lol. But yeah i think it should be public too. Then ppl could look at their posts and what not to see how they were, it would help set an example i guess...you should consider mentioning something about it to ron,since you are more likely to get through to him then me.

This is a GREAT idea. Even if names are not specified, how better to educate others on bannable infractions? We might be (and some apparently are) unaware of some pitfalls out there.

Nah man. I can't speak for all of us, but if I was looking for trouble I wouldn't have recommended anonymity.

-laauuugghhhs- Del... We told you why! Stop pretending we didn't. It doesn't involve any concern for a random person who laces weed. It doesn't involve shit or stirring. All it involves is curiousity and precaution.

I guess I'll waste my time quoting every instance where we told you EXACTLY why we wanted to know, before you even asked.

Anyway, no one is questioning the honesty of the mods. I've never had an occurance of a mod not worthy of trusting on this site. I've had one I never agree with and who gets on my nerves if i let him, but he's the most trustworthy guy on the entire site. Will keep you from getting scammed even if you two don't quite hit it off.

This doesn't have anything to do with keeping mods honest. Or stirring up shit. Or caring about some stupid weed lacer. This has to do with: it would be a cool feature if it wasn't too much effort. Stoned people could have a laugh at stupid people who get banned, and sober people could learn from them.

Besides, this is barely about weedlacer. This is just about people who get banned, weedlacer just happened to be the one who was used as an example.

I wasn't tryin' to stir up trouble. I just noticed a post of his somewhere, saw that he was banned and then wondered what he was banned for. Then after lookin at a few posts of his, i started wonderin' what types of things people get banned for around here. Though I have to admit, i didn't realize he was banned a year ago. My bad. =P

LMAO Ed. Obviously the first thing you do when you first join is just start reading threads to get a feel for the forum's style and etiquette etc. Well EXACTLY the same thing you described happened to me, only I just asked the first live person I saw here- stoned penguin. He didnt know specifically, but did give me the basic guidelines of how not to get banned. What he told me made sense... until I noticed HE got banned. Soo I guess not all of us know all the rules, lol/
