The end of an era. Sadness.

I'm glad I made it to Amsterdam last year, as tragedy has befallen all of us.

Dutch government to ban tourists from cannabis shops

This is unbelievable to me and I have to think a decision like this will have an adverse effect on tourism in the country. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think time will tell.

The best part is that they're using a "health" slant but the conservative government is ready to let people smoke tobacco in cafes again. Super healthy. Bastards.

What the fuck? This will absolutely shatter tourism, who goes to Amsterdam and doesn't smoke some dank ass weed?

To promote health and fight crime
That is bullshit, I watched a documentary (Look out, I'm qualified lol) over the Drug War, and they were in Amsterdam interviewing people in coffee shops, and the owner of the first one they went into said there has never been a fight in there during the 16 years he's operated it. I don't understand the "health" aspect, how is banning tourists from smoking weed promoting health? When you consider that cannabis is literally harmless and is in fact beneficial to the body as it promotes brain cell growth and also strengthens the endocannabanoid system which regulates all systems in the body, respiratory, digestive, etc., they're technically doing the exact opposite.

Now is the time for American states and Canadian provinces to seriously look at the financial benefits of legalizing weed. All those stoner tourists gotta go somewhere.
