App. ultimately denied over DEA Certification from Dr.
Anyone else had an application sent back and required to have their Dr. fax a DEA Certification to the registry? I got my application returned a couple months ago requesting that I have my Dr. fax their DEA cert to the registry and resend in my application within 60 days. I felt strange asking this of my Dr. after she was a little hesitant to even sign in the first place. I did ultimately just leave a message asking them to fax it and sent my application back in. I knew I was cutting the line close but missed it by one day. My Dr. also did not fax in the DEA cert. I finally get my application sent back to me as denied because it was a day late and they did not get the paperwork they needed.
I also sent along a letter explaining that I had issues with paying $90 but still having to provide more paperwork to verify my paperwork when that is what I should be paying for. Of course I knew this was going to not be heard by the govt. drones, but I felt the desire to send it along.
Just wondering if quite a few people are getting this letter or is my Dr. just not on the right list or what?
This is my PCP that I have been seeing for 7 years and prescribes me blood thinners so I have no reason to think she is not legit and feel somewhat discriminated against for having to jump through such hoops. This law has become so convoluted I can hardly take it seriously anymore or respect it in any way. I am a permanently disabled person in a wheelchair so I will never get better but still I have to play this game each and every year.
Anyway thanks for reading.
Peace
