What weapons can one carry legally?

My friends and I need to get armed because of some hobos that hang around a place we frequent, but I don't wanna get busted with an illegal weapon. My friend says any knife is legal to carry as long as the blade is less than 4 inches long. Anyone know?

get ur self a can of pepper spray and a cosh. better than carrying a knife.

conceled weapon laws vary from state to state and some local communitys have ordinances as well but i would try to just get along with them after many yrs of traveling in car and hitch hicking most hobo's i have come across are pretty laid back and as long as you dont bother them they wont bother you if you can make peace with them they may be a good asset to you by watching your back if you do the same for them

Wasp and Hornet spray is much better. Spoots about 15-20 feet.

But again you will be subject to litigation.

In Alaska you can carry concealed handguns without a license.
What state.....Or nation are you in? I personaly carry an S&W 500 C/H WIch is legal here, but not many other places
