quick fix temperatrue?

on a seperate note a while back i tried a few test runs as you suggested..my question is if i have the QF in my groin area and its leaning againt my thigh is the temp strip reading my thigh temperatue and affecting that?
Diege pointed out if i rubbed my finger on my pants and put it on the test cup strip it would change to my desired temp...wouldnt this be the same as my leg pressed against the Qf temp strip?

should i use a paper towel against the side of QF where the temp strip is? would this be a more accurate reading?
i am fending to smoke as of lately and am still extrmely paranoid and nervous about starting again....

Your making this harder than it has too be. If your this worried then I would suggest that you purchase an electronic thermometer. This will give you the most accurate reading before you pour you sample in the cup. If you decide to go this route, beware of the the beeping sound that these thermometers make. They can be disabled, but Ive never done one myself. Here's a thread explaining how to do this:

To me this all is more trouble than it's worth, that's why I recommend heating and cooling the sample cup after you have poured the urine in. Hope this helps... Good luck.

Thanks Diege.I had it couched and then put a grabber warmer on it and it got to 98 ( at least thats what the temp strip read. I did it as a practice run.

On a seperate not I took it out for a few secs while I was outside..do you think that the sunlight would damage it while it was out for that few secs or would it have to be sitting in sun for it to get damaged..

PS i know im making it a lot harder, im just so nervous man =(

According to Spectrum Labs (the manufacturer of the QF) , any exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.

If youre worried whether or not the QF's effectiveness has been compromised, you can always purchase some adulteration test strips and test the QF to see if the creatinine, pH, specific gravity, etc. are all within acceptable ranges. These test kits are found online by doing a Google search for drug adulteration test kits.
