Orange County 420 Community Beach Cleanup Day

The respect of mother nature and what she has given us to protect, utilize, and enjoy. As a surfer and a member of the Surfrider foundation I spend a lot of time at the beach picking up litter. I had been speaking about it with a couple of people at WM's and they had asked if they might be able to organize some type of beach cleanup day themselves?

I thought it sounded like a great idea, sort of an â??Adopt a Beachâ?� program. So the regional representatives put together a small gathering on Sunday 5.8.2011 and went down to 15th St. at Newport Beach to see how good it felt to give back. All in all It was a great day, and as usual we got to meet a ton of new 420 friendsâ?¦

That being said, I wanted to get some feedback from the WMâ??s community to see if?

A. Would you participate in a Beach Clean up Day with ?
B. What beach should "hit" first:rasta:

I noticed that was having a Beach Cleanup Day and want to encourage all that can to come out and help! This kind of event helps to change the negative public perception of our community

Meeting place: Newport Beach at the Pier. . . Down on the beach; look for all of the people in shirts.

Meet time: 10:00 am -- Ending time 11:00 am . . . (Back to Work)

☑ We bring any glove's or pick up sticks as needed
