well, it all depends on how tall and how bushy, how many watts/lumens and what method of growing. for example in SOG style with small planters or a hydro system and 800w you could do about 30, otherwise with 2000w you could grow 3'-4' and only about six or maybe eight plants. either way most of your vertical space is wasted. SCROG will maximize yield with less wattage and can be one to 12 plants+/- depending on strain. soil and planters take more space however easier to manage and can be rotated for more uniform light distribution.
