    Ph adjustment advice needed

OK so I just need a quick tip for adjusting my ph, I had my girlfriend grab soil for me and she got happy frog instead of ocean forest and I have read that the ph out of the bag for happy frog is like a 4.8 which is too low what ph water should I water with ( using some ph up ) to bring it to a happy medium. I just need to know about how high to put my watering waters ph to so it will bring the soil up to an acceptable range. Thanks in advance for any info

happy frog is a soil ammendment for ocean forest. its meant to be used together to lighten the soil for better drainage and more frequent feedings. if your watering with nuetral water and adding nutes it should balnce out alright check your runoff and see where its at then you will know what you need to add. next time maybe use both soils.

Using Happy Frog too... The ph the soil is when dry isn't as important as the ph of the soil when you have a root system in it....

The water I use has a high ph and I have been battling with the soil to keep it at the right ph range. I have found Happy Frog to be a self adjusting type of soil. Typically the ph range I have is 7.0-7.5... I have to drop 10ml of ph down in 1gal of water just to drop the soil ph to 6.0-6.5. 12 hours after being given the acidic mix, the soil ph is back up to 7.0-7.5.... So now I just give 8ml per gallon just to keep the ph riding from 6.5 up to 7.5.... Can't complain though....(see pic, flwr day 34)

OK, that's good because most of the one's I am transplanting are in one gal pots of FFOF and I've been battling high ph since I started, my water has a ph of 9.9 or higher. Well water sucks, I didn't notice my water was so bad until all my plants started showing signs of nute lock. I have another question, I usually only use my ferts like once a week I'm using floralux and it seems to be working out OK I haven't seen any signs of nute deficiency (since getting ph under control) so should I stick with what I'm doing. Also what strain were you growing those look really nice and I wanted to get another strain started soon and can't decide what strain and what company to order from any advice.

If they are growing just fine, keep doing what you are doing....

I'm using small six inch pots that allow me to water/feed every 24 hours. I feed feed water water feed feed water water etc.... But they didn't get large enough to do this until week 4 of flower. Before then, I had to do the "lift pot for weight/moisture check"....

Currently growing an indica dominant hybrid called Purple Cap. It's a cross between Grand Daddy Purple and Snow Cap. As far as seed banks go, I don't like growing from seed so I wouldn't be able to say which would be best. I get clones from other growers in my collective....

    What nutes you using???

I\'m using floralux nuts ( b.c. grow etc) right now I have seven blue mystics at about week six ( from seed) I have eight others (seeds from bags) that are week three almost four of flowering. Also have like seven pineapple kush I just started. I wish I could get close from someone unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere and everyone thinks swag is awesome because they have never gotten anything else. This is my first grow and ever since I got my water switched out all has been good the reason I have been giving nutes only like once a week is because, once I do it more than once I start getting nute burn. So I have just been stickin with once a week. I want to post some pics and see if everyone else thinks there OK, but I am massively paranoid about the pics getting traced back. I usually use a proxy before I log on and I cant post pics going thru the proxy server, I see everyone else puts pics should I not be worried? Thanks for the feedback CanGroIt much appreciated.

I was also wondering what would be a good time to top my plants I saw in your pics (CanGroIt) your plants have many tops and you have some tape or something to train them. I read some people start topping in like week three of veg and some a week after flowering, which would give the best results. Also how do U set up the grid across the top, and what method would do U think is best (FIM, pruning, or idk what else but I\'m sure everyone has different ways. I just want to make my plants bushy and happy
