if you use a clean blade or scissor to do it it should be fine. But you will need to leave it for a couple weeks to heel before flowering - when i did it to one of mine black sap game out to heel its wounds but ended up fine. The end result wasnt worth it though just 2 medium sized buds aposed to one big one which id prefer. So if i were you id tie her dow, just put a bit of string on her stem and pull it down gently and she will start to bend then tie the string to the pot of a brick or something - she will then grow up again you can either leave her to do that so she just has a curve or pull it back down again and grow her out in a corner shape - but that depends on your light space etc. hope this gave u couple ideas

no the toppings of plants always go towards the light. if you want to know more about the tying down the stems look up LST marijuana aka low stress training. you can find lots of vid's on the internet instructing you how to do so. best thing about it is that you can get more bud sites more bud sites = more buds = more yield

I have had the same problem.. i have just taken and done a "supercropping" tech... do a search for it. I had a plant that was maybe three weeks in flowering and was just towering over the rest. I pinched that plant in the area to where it would level it with the rest of the canopy.. now when i say pinched i do not mean pinched off.. just lightly worked my fingers around soften the hurd and it leans over and the plant was fine and ending up being one of the best plants in the room.
