Somewhere recently I read that Indian researchers from different fields of religion and science, joined forces and developed an interesting theory, that's the human brain has a defect that may be exceeded only by smoking marijuana.

Therefore, in order to speed up western civilization in directions unexplored, marijuana should be legalized in the countries, which depends on such development, which may be important for finding new solutions, such as antigravity, the concept of a lottery mechanism, etc.

Thanks for that. Very interesting stuff. I've always viewed psychotropic substances as more tools than party favors. You can meditate for hours to achieve a state of calm and clarity, or you can take a shortcut and smoke some grass in a peaceful environment.

I can't begrudge people their partying, but sometimes it sucks to listen to someone talk about all the drugs they plan on doing at some rave or party so they can get "fucked up", and all I'm thinking is that it sound sacrilegious in some vague way.

most of us kind of knew that already, albiet not so technical. the problem is that our world lives on hate and greed, like a never ending trough. those that dont are pacifists, traitors, weirdos, etc. if this were the case it would be another reason for dea to keep it illegal and would further suggest that they have done studies that have proven this theory correct. very few humans have the capability of further brain usage therefore suggesting we are being suppressed mentally. government creates distractions to keep our minds occupied and media distributes it as truth. our minds cannot sustain this plethora of false truths, partial truths, fibs if you will and most certainly cant distinguish truth from all out lies. when you cut out all of the bs you will find silence which is why we have so many different drugs that cause more problems which require more drugs that dont work. alcahol is a noise maker it makes your brain cloudy and more succeptable to belief. whereas mj quiets the mind and relaxes the body leading to a higher percentage of brain usage which in turn leads for the most part to better decisions. just my take on this anyway:thumbsup:

I've believed in a similar theory for years. I've smoked pot for over 37 years and it's helped me to obtain a state of calm and to look at things from a different perspective. It's made me think deeper thoughts than ever before, and when you think about it, what's the biggest threat to governments; people who think for themselves! It's easier to lead people when you keep them in a state of confusion and uncertainty. My belief is that it's ok to learn from books, but if you don't learn from life you'll never know if the stuff you read in those books is true or not. Keep your eyes open. It was put here for a reason, discover why for yourself.

well yeah...free thinkers arent conformists and government loves conformity. without conformists there would be no one to fight wars. from kindegarten on your taught to fit in, thats not appropriate, you should be more like him/her, and as we grow older its keep up with the joneses, your homes should all look similiar, be a patriot, blame mexicans for everything (im wondering when we will start occupying mexico as they do have oil and a very close neighbor), republicans are Americans and nobody else is, on and on and on. i have never voted and a lot of people find that unAmerican however i simply reply "when there is someone worthy of my vote they will get it, otherwise its a waste of my time." the usual reply is "well then you cant complain about whats happening." my reply "yes i can because its the same idiots doing nothing every time, again show me someone worthy." it usually falls on brainwashed ears. still, people ask me "are you a dem or republican?" i reply "im an American." they usually have some dumbfounded look on their face. really, have we forgotten who we are as a people? we can be patriotic however we should also have the fortitude to correct what is wrong and simply voting is not enough when decades of political inbreeding has corrupted the system that we hold so dear. our justice system is now a profit based entity as is our politcal system and a lot of people consider this acceptable as conformists so as not to be condemned as a traitor or anti-American. as a world its the same no matter your borders this is why we have war. i grow weary of all the greed and idiocy that surrounds our globe yet in the end we must hold true to ourselves and educate properly, our youth.
