    Please help! I can't tell!!!!!!!

This plant is 3 weeks into flowering and I cannot tell whether this is a female or a male, can someone please help? Details: The first thing to form were the little "balls" that from what I have read are pollen sacks [of a male]. But there are also many white hairs growing from the top of the plant inbetween them [like a female]. Is this a hermaphrodite? or do i actually have a female? Please help!

I'm thinking that's called a hermiphrodite, or hermie. If it pollinates itself you'll have a bunch of seeds to work with. It might even yield some good smoke.

plant2 definitely male, not mine definitely hermie.

unless you want a bunch of hermie junk don't bother with the seeds

Yes you have a hermie. If i were you when you get rid of it (which should be now) you should clean the grow area really good. If it released pollen it could contaminate future grows or nearby plants. Good luck.

    Thanks for the advice/input.

Question: if it is a hermaphrodite will it still produce any use able bud? For instance not necessarily to smoke, but to cook with? [I've also read that cooking with the male leaves is also effective because they have a higher THC concentration? Has that been confirmed at all?]

i used a male plant to make some cannamilk for my mother who has somewhat of a low tolerance and she actually got a buzz along with all the relief that she would normally have gotten.
