pruning fan leaves?
Leave them alone. Only remove them if you have to or if they shade a bud you are trying to encourage growth on. Even so, those big fan leaves should generally stay. Try bending them out of the way and using a tie to hold it out of the way.

Alright...I've started to flower..their about 2 weeks in, and everything is going great...so I'm wondering, what happens when I start pruning those large fan leaves? I'm told by some to leave them alone, and others to trim them so the bud will grow larger...anyone with any experience, would love the imput...thanks. Rating: 5
