Trying to do some good in Rhode Island

I have been posting and learning here for over a year now. I have also been unemployed. The unemployment rate in RI is still in double digits. We also are very close to having "compassion centers", but are now facing a huge hurdle put up by, none other than the Obama Administration.

In response I have gotten together with like minded people and created Ocean State Cannabis. Our goal is to educate, inform, and help the medical marijuana community in any way we can. In fact, I am heading to Providence to join the rally/press conference at the Statehouse right now.

Our site is new, but we have posted dozens of articles already. We also have a presence on FaceBook, YouTube, and Twitter. If you have a moment please stop by and check us out. If you like our sites, please like us on Facebook, etc.

Look I will defend myself, but I am not going to engage you on 2 boards. YOU are what is wrong with the movement. You know NOTHING of our relationship to RIPAC. You are a newbie on every board. You know nothing about me or my motives. Why are you such a dick? Did you see how many people attend RIPAC rallies, or the URI hempfest? We need people to work together, not tear each other down like 1000watts/Releaf. I have met so many great people while embarking on this. You are the first to be so negative. YOU are a newbie on all forums, and a troll. A Rhode Island hater troll- the worst kind.

Why drop the name of 2 magazines that you state damaged the community?were do u get this?

I am sorry if it reads that way. I do not say that the magazines damaged the community at all. I was simply stating that people need to get together and that the 1000watts/Releaf thing is an example of two entities within our community tearing each other down.

I am sure there is backstory there, but it is an illustration of NOT working together. We feel that this movement is far more important than egos. I never said "damaged the community". I personally think that the community is GROWING and that is a good thing

Sometimes it seems that the RI Medical Marijuana community is some exclusive club. Why would someone get upset with us for trying to help out?
