Greed at the Market...
I was really suprised that some people are so greedy at the Farmers Market. Good thing is most are compassionate and there for the cause but a couple surely only have money on their minds...Had to get a gram of this $350 an ounce weed but it wasn't any better than most of the Kush...But it is Organic...LOL So is most of the stuff there...Why do people put such a high cost on doing something clean? It really doesn't cost any more to grow organic, most everything carried at grow stores is Organic anymore. Then I bet if I asked they wouldn't have a certificate so it really isn't Certified Organic....
Then the other thing that bothered me deeply was a woman brought her baby in there with all the smoke....Sad that some just don't think, had the press been there I doubt we would have ever had another Farmers Market. They need to make it 18 and over and stick to it. We have come a long ways but it can all come to a screetching halt over stupidity.hiamps Reviewed by hiamps on . Greed at the Market... Yes that little bit of lack of concern for others could waste us all.

You know....that the first one to do something always 1. dies, 2. is reviled, 3. talked about like they are crazy.
I believe it is the nature of change. What is happening now .. is a bar has been set.
To me that suggests it is time to start another market, that works the way it should be. The trail is blazed, Lewis and Clark.
Let's walk!

Actually it is the few, most are really there to help it seems. There are 2 farmers markets in Tacoma, the one on Center Street and then one at Left Coast on South Tacoma Way. I had my caretaker with me and we were allowed in at Center Street but not at South Tacoma way. Will have to try theirs out another time and will let everyone know what I think. I really like the Center Street Market and plan on going back, some really cool people and hopefully they will address whether kids are let in the smokey room or not. As far as prices go....You can tell who has good smoke and fair prices by the amount of people always at their booths...I ended up with 4 quarters and only spent $220 + $15 for one gram. Really love the Blackberry I got, the whole bud is purple inside and out, believe I got it from Kens....They had a lot of variety and were willing to make deals...
And we never failed to fail...it was the easiest thing to do.

I would be careful at these markets. I would expect them to get hit by the feds before the end of summer.

With the new requirement of 15 days between patients, the private grow your own and market the excess is really in a difficult spot. I don't see these farmers markets surviving past 7/22/11. Hopefully somebody will come up with some sort of patient caregiver matching service.

So kind of curious how trading straight across would work? Could there be a message board like this and as long as people trading say ounce for ounce just to have variety would that break any law? As long as both people are patients and no money is traded?
And we never failed to fail...it was the easiest thing to do.

Patients will have to post on a message board, "need a designated provider". Grow our patients will pick n choose another patient every 16 days or more. Most trades will be qp or more, a grower will only be able to do a total of 22 or so trades per year with different consecutive patients.
Just my guess...I am sure the market place will adjust to fit the new rules.
