Day off work, spending some time with my plants, pruning the lower growth getting high and just looking at them, things like that. I know that I have said that I don't do it in the past and I don't per-say. Since I water roughly once a week, the plants naturally select the weakest leaves to wilt. This enables me to identify what leaves need to be removed.

Any gardener will experience wilt at one point. I believe that this is the plant letting you know that; I am not going to produce major flowers here, I don't mind if I lose these leaves, so on and so fourth.

Outdoor gardeners know and practice removing dead foliage once the light can no longer penetrate (Support) the lower growth.

You can see from the close ups that the plants experienced a slight burn. So I'll water for a week and more then likely resume normal dosing.

I went into my local garden center to buy Hi-Brix, but they were out. So I picked up dry molasses (See pic), just giving it a try. I put around 10oz in each pot also put in a little bit of top soil. I'll keep you posted on the results. The smell of this actually is worth it. EJ has a.. well smell to it. An organic matter smell that a lot of people can't stand. This molasses brings in a sweet smell to the garden.

A few baby bud shots..

By the way, Ill continue this grow log for some time. I've been reading a lot about the new organic hydro lines coming out. I've been thinking about a DIY DWC buckets or Ebb n Flow.

One of the Ice plants is looking great and I will probably run her as a mother for a year. Who knows for sure. But be on the look out for an hydro organic grow in about two months.
