Tiny Black Bugs in My ROOTS

Can anyone tell me these are they don't seem to be causing any problems yet. They look like gnats to me but also like a beetle. They are soft and make a green mark when squashed.

See those little horns on it's butt?
Them's root aphids.
That, is a major hassle.
They make the borg look like a bargain.
Google them and here's the best information;

They killed my grow. Had to tear it down and start over.
