What is ur water and feed schedule. What is the ingoing and outgoing ph. In the future I would recommend using ffof for soil. Lots of people use mg tho with success. U will just have to play with it. Especially add some perlite. Filling out the troubleshooting form will get u better help.

Well they were being watered with a cup of water every 3 days....feeding them pretty much everytime thinking that my leaf discoloration was due to N-P deficiency and probably due to the greed of wanter huge buds. They are being fed fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom. Will get back to you on the in/outgoing ph upon the next watering...then i'll include it with the troubleshooting form.

LOCATION-Indoor

AGE- 4 weeks of flowering as of 06-23-2011
LIGHTS - six 100w cfl's at 1750 lumens each and i believe they are each 5700k and four other cfl's hanging at the sides of the plants that are 2700k and 875 lumens
VENTILATION - Plenty (keep the area open while lights are on with a fan blowing)...closed for night time

U really need to get a ph meter. I use the fox farm trio and tiger bloom really makes my ph drop. I have to use general hydroponics ph up to get it back to right. U should also refer to their feeding schedule. It says to feed every other watering. If I were u I would start reading everything u can. There is much more to this than dirt water and food.

I got ya...was being real lazy with this grow...i have a ph meter just wasn't using it and i knew they shouldn't be fed everytime but couldn't differentiate overfert signs from N-P deficiency (stared at those charts day after day) so kept feeding and feeding and feeding but yes the fox farm feeding chart is on hand. They'll be getting water tomorrow so the ph will be measured then...hopefuly they aren't to damaged to grow some decent bud from this point...what do you think? i think the growth is a little slower than normal but at least they are still showing growth from day to day

p.s. -have been reading about hydro setups and can't waite to go that route for the next one plus a friend has been doing it the hydro way for a couple years so there will be a coach in the corner the whole way.

I think ur plants will be fine. Just give them a good flush then continue feeding but with properly phd product. Also, start using molasses at two teaspoons per gallon when u feed. Does wonders.

When measuring the ph of a 2 liter filled with tap water (two metal prongs suspened in water) it reads 5.5 but if i pour the water into a plastic cup and measure it with the two metal prongs touching the bottom of the cup the water measures 7....? i'm puzzled any input...please and thank you very much

Alright went and got a different ph tester, the tap water alone is about 7.5 and comes out about 7 so that will be slightly adjusted, and when they get their next feeding (water with nutes) the in/out ph will be adjusted and hopefully come out correct since the ph up/ph down is now on hand. I measured the ph of the nute/water that has been sitting for a couple weeks and it was about 6 but i'll be using fresh nute/water and adjust the ph to about 7 and hopefuly wit will come out between the 6.5-7 range....gonna try and realy find the cable to the digi cam so quality pics can be posted and hopefully we can get the most out of the remaining flowering period.
