yeah, i wont do home remedies anymore. for that very reason, and i had it worse than you. sm90 will slow them down as well as increase nute uptake. cost appr.$10-20. other than that with gnats its humidity and soil moisture that keeps them going. they start as larvae in the soil. they like moist soil. then they emerge as the gnats you see "buzzin in your face and stuff". had em for 6 years and then poof, gone. damage can occur from larvae eating roots...let soil dry appropriately and water as needed. you should be alright. dont cut right now. a lot of times it will work itself out or cloning may cure you.

but mine seems to be gone after just two days. I don't remember where i read it but some one mentioned Bounce dryer sheets around the base of the plant. I figured what the hell. my wife buys them in boxes of 100. Believe it or not, it's working. Didn't see not one gnat in my flower room this evening, and i looked through all six plants (White Widdow-1 soil, 1 hydro) (White Rino-1 soil, 2 hydro) (bag seed-1 soil). My veg area didn't have any when i looked earlier today. It really didn't dawn on me since they are pretty much outside. My mother plants (WW, WR, bag seed) are all inside in a closet grow (soil). Had the damn things in there. I didn't pay any attention to them either until i noticed my flwr room was gnat free. Went to take a look in the closet, ruffed up the soil and didn't see a thing. I don't know how or what it does but it worked.

    That would be me.

Actually, I'm using Kirkland brand now.
They are just as effective but the scent is less overpowering.
    Cheap too!
Just bought 500 sheets for about $8.
Have not seen a single gnat, outside!
    Good stuff!

    Aloha,
    Weeze

The only thing that has ever worked for me is diatomaceous earth. Works great. Just make sure it is food grade. Most garden centers carry it. Cheap too.
