need help growing my 2 little clones

recently, i went out and bought 2 clones from a local collective. i got a sour diesel about 5 inches tall and a purple kush about 2-3 inches tall and im growing outdoor btw. i looked at my sour diesel about 3 days ago and all of a sudden i saw some white hairs comin out the top of the main cola. i know that either means its starting to flower or showing sex or somethin but i dont want it to flower just yet its only 5 inches tall! is it because of the climate? im in northern cali and i know i planted a little early so did i screw myself? or will my diesel snap back into veg stage? and also on the purp kush its starting to get hairs. is this a clone thing or am i doin shit wrong?

Sounds fine to me. How many leaf sets do you have?

well on the diesel i have 3 leaf sets and its only 5 inch tall but i dont want it budding yet till like mid september and it already looks like it is starting too cus of the white hairs on it. is that beginning flowering? or just showing sex early?i hope its just showign sex

It's nothing to worry about. They will revert back to a veg state once the days become longer..... If they aren't already in the ground, you could supplement the light cycle by placing them outside in the morning and then back inside under a lamp or two before dusk. This would keep them from flowering further...... Hope this helps......

the fact that you got hairs, proves its female:thumbsup: old clones will exhibit more hair than first round cuts from younger mothers, for example, if you ave ay mum one year old you would potentially save a week or two over starting from seed. reason being, you are replicating from the stage you cut from. clones are the exact age of their mother. it is possible to be riddled with hairs and not be in flower, fyi, cloning has a way with fixing things. always clone. long story short, dont trip...everything is fine.

youll never waste time or money growing your own. it will cost you $10 an ounce or less if you get decent at it. take the time and learn and youll be glad you did:stoned:
