Hi all,

I have a pre-employment screen comming up next week. I have sythetic on the way, but I am hoping to pass au natural. I took a test today (2 weeks clean) and it had a very light line. [attachment=o274815]

Here is the pic. It was a single panel test I bought for $10 at the local shop.

Any info from those more experienced would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

What's the question? I see a photo with two lines one in the T area and of course on in the C area. You seeing something different? 1st piss of the day + a line in the T area = pass

That test result is a negative.

Did you use the first void of the day?

I was just wondering if this is a pass b/c it is so light. I didn't use the first void, but I will retest tomorrow. I am just not sure if this is a passing level. I'll try again in the morning and see what it looks like.

Sorry if this has been asked before, I am just freaking out because the job is a dream job.

Assays do not yield quantitative values, so there is no "passing level". They are a pass/fail endeavor.


A faint line is still a negative. Even synthetic urines (which contain no drug metabolites at all) can produce a faint line on an assay.

Do take one more home test using the first void of the day. If youre consistently testing negative with the first void (regardless of line intensity), youre good to go.

Mine was significantly lighter....it was a walgreens test by the name of At Home Drug Test-Marijuana, produced by phamatech. This line was about as faint as you can get....does anybody know???? I havent smoked since the 20th of February but I have gained a ton of weight since being laid off. I am 6' 270lbs. To give you an idea, if I were to loose enough weight to be SOLID, I would weigh about 210. Any suggestions???? or input??? Thanks, much appreciated!!!

I have my test next week. I'll let you know how my faint line works out. I may mix a little QF 5.7 just to be safe...But depends on how the tets looks on the first void of the day.

Dude, I appreciate it!! What has me trippin' is that I go in Wednesday morning for an interview and they are likely going to call me in on Thursday for a test. I called the company today and they were like, if you can see any line at all....I tried to explain and she said, "any line, sir" I mean, this mofo is FAINT....so faint, i had someone else look @ it and they didn't even see it @ first. I am stressed the hell out!!!! Thinking about sending it to the company tomorrow and having it tested there. I believe it is free....not sure.

Small Change, FYI I took a 3 panel test this AM. The THC light was about the same lightness, but the other two were darker. I am guessing that because the only thing I have in my system is THC is why that light was lighter. It just must be below the 50nl cutoff but still something there? Good luck on your test if you have it this week.

The line in the THC panel is almost always lighter than the other drug panels. There is no meaning attributed to the intensity of a line. Once again, a faint line is a negative.

Youre worrying yourself over nothing.
