Cannabis plants produce a unique family of terpeno-phenolic compounds called cannabinoids, which produce the "high" one experiences from smoking marijuana. The two cannabinoids usually produced in greatest abundance are cannabidiol (CBD) and/or Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), but only THC is psychoactive.

I'm no doctor or anything and I'm sure there are others on here than could be much more helpful than me but I might suggest you look into CBD, the non psychoactive cannabinoid. good luck and welcome aboard.

I've been to the doctor and they say I have ulcerative colitis. I do not take the meds rx'd by conventional doctors because most have side effects that destroy you even more than your original illness.
