Molasses does a great job replacing carbo load products, and I haven't used CalMag Plus since I started using it. It's cheap and available at any grocery store. (Grandma's and Brer Rabbit are common, and made by the same company) I've been using Fox Farms for many years, and see no reason to change something that works fine. But I'm not inclined to purchase something just because it has the word "organic" on the label. A chemical is a chemical no matter who made it. Base nutrients for the plant, and a few extra's for the bacteria that convert micro's into usable nutrients.

A solid potting soil is recommended, too. I'm playing around with Patio Plus right now, and it's doing fine, especially at $5.00 for a 1.5 cu. ft. bag. Kinda similar to Fox Farms Ocean Forest from what I understand. Not organic, but it is natural.

I also use humic acid after my monthly flushes, when I can afford it. Not sure I'll need it in the Patio Plus though. It has some serious ammendments in it already.

You'll have to decide for yourself which are snake oils and which are beneficial products...but keeping it simple is usually best. Some (reputable?) companies offer super-organic formula's that are usually major overkill with a major pricetag, and some additives are nothing more than molasses or synthetic molasses, or "derived" from cane sugar extract or sugar beet extract or similar.
Cannabis grows fine without designer nutrients with bitchen labels, and every possible additive under the sun.

Also, with the Fox Farms line, the Grow Big and the Tiger Bloom have the plant's micro nutrients. The Big Bloom is the catalyst tea made to compliment both. (and it's organic)
