Need Advice, DIY Stealth Deep Water Culture System

What's good everybody? New to the forum but not the business! :rasta: anyway I have a few questions concerning my new DIY project. First off I plan on growing blueberry kush & some purps in a DWC system. I have a few fish tanks so all the supplies needed are at hand :thumbsup: but next question is I have an old xbox360 after looking for a fan to place on the top of my plastic tubs which will be my 'Stealth Growbox' I thought "wait my xbox has a nice high powered fan!" I had already disassembled the broken thingm red ring of death got to me . And I found the fan to be a DC12V dual fan, my question is how would I connect this to a wall socket I know I'll have to get a converter but will I need to strip the wires and what not? My next question is will having the DIY rubbermaid box modified to fit another bin with water that my plants will sit on top of be a good idea? This way I can have my plants hidden but also growing fast? And finally my last question what is my best lighting option? The 6 CFL bulbs? Thanks for the help happy almost 420!

Bump and update

So without and responses I went on with my project. I got the dual fans working perfectly. Each fan is 3in, so I put a 3in intake with a 90° PVC pipe down on the bottom if I'm not mistaken this is correct 2x 3inche fans equals 6in half of 6 is 3 so a 3inche intake was needed. I'm using two 21 gallon bins stacked on top of one another for a good 3ft growing space. I have another bin inside that I need to duck tape to block out light where I'll fill water up and place an airstone with air pump. I need to paint the inside white and install the 2x 3 bulb Light fixture for my 6CFL bulbs. I currently have 5 flowering bulbs that were just around the house now I need to get my veg bulbs. I'm going to have another small like 20watt light laying next to the stem of my plant just to help a lil under foliage growth. Next question I have. For starting the seeds off, how should I do this? Seeing as they won't be planted In soil will rock wool do the job? And how about LST can I also do this to keep the plants low but bushy? Sorry this is only my second grow, my first indoor grow and I want to get this right! Thanks for reading

Anyway I continued to move on, I painted the inside white, and duck taped the outside to trap the light. I have my rubbermaid bin that will hold the plants and water ready. I just need my fox farm nutrients, Veg lights, and a light fixture.
