Took test today
If that collector was Nazi enough to suspect that a sub is being used, she wouldve, under DHHS regulations, ordered you to submit a second specimen immediately, this time under direct observation (with an observer of same gender as the donor). She would then process and send off both specimens and indicate on the test form (REMARKS space) that a second specimen was collected under direct observation and the reason(s) why.she seemed cool but she did comment I was very quick, but her computer was slow, can she flag me on suspicion of dumping a quick sub in there even if I never did, again she seemed cool and don't think she would but my balls, she did not ask me to empty my pockets.
If the above didnt happen to you, all is good there.
No need to worry there. Often, the site of specimen collection and the site of analysis are at two different locations. Not all collection facilities are licensed to perform analysis. Thats why the specimens are sent off. The lab will perform an Immunoassay screen first along with the colorimetric validity screen for dilution/adulteration/substitution.she put the sample in a bag right away and said it would be ready in about 24-48 hours, she was the only one on site I saw no lab, is this normal? her putting it in a bag does this mean with will get a lab test?
If youre worried about the GC/MS test (perhaps because of its cutoff level), relax. The GC/MS is only used to confirm the drug positives that have occurred on the initial I/A screen. No I/A negatives are run through the GC/MS due to high costs.with 31 days undr my belt and testing for the past 5-7 days negative on first void does this mean even if they do the gas check I will pass?
And dont let the differing cutoff levels between the I/A and the GC/MS worry you either. What many people dont realize is that although their cutoff limits numerically differ, a 50 ng I/A screen is functionally equivalent to the 15 ng GC/MS. Their cutoffs numerically differ because the I/A recognizes all 31 metabolite concentrations combined, while the GC/MS recognizes only one metabolite concentration.
THC enters the body in its ingested form and exits the body as 31 different metabolite concentrations. The most prevalent form of these concentations is the THC-COOH metabolite concentration.
In order to test negative on the I/A, the whole combination of the 31 metab concentrations must register below 50 ng/ml.
In order to test negative on the GC/MS, only that one metabolite concentration (THC-COOH) must register below 15 ng/ml.
Again if your sample tests negative on the I/A, the test is finished there as a "pass" - no GC/MS done.Burnt Toast Reviewed by Burnt Toast on . Took test today I toook the test instead today instead of Monday, where I was negative in the mornings for while figured I was good, but I still wanted to protect myself in case they go lower then 50 for some reason I drank a bottle of water with 1.5 oz fiber in it and drank about a half of a small gatorade, I took a Vitamin B about 5 hours before the test, I was concerned about the color when it was getting near the time for tthe test so I put the tiniest amount under my tounge (I did not want to be neon) Rating: 5To view the Board Rules: http://boards.cannabis.com/introduce...ard-rules.html
