Drinking water is only good for the day of the test. Drinking a bunch of water days or weeks before the test is of no help. You must understand that THC is stored in fat cells and is not water-soluble, unlike other types of drugs. Therefore, you cannot "wash" or "flush" THC from the fat cells by drinking large amounts of water.

THC remains in the fat cells until the fat cells are burned for energy. When fat cells burn, the stored THC metabolizes into THCA and released back into the bloodstream, filtered by the kidneys, and deposited into the bladder. The rate in which THCA is filtered from the bloodstream by the kidneys is unaffected by large fluid consumption.

The purpose of drinking fluids is to dilute (thin out) the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder. The idea is to thin out that concentration enough to where the urine sample registers below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen. The dilution phenomena, however, is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, a "dirty" donor would resume testing positive for THC.

ALL detox products are a big scam to capitalize on the so-called "war on drugs" by preying upon the uninformed and credulous and taking their cash. When they work at all, they work on the principle of dilution. You can spend up to $200 on a magic elixir and accomplish nothing different than what can be accomplished using just water and vitamin B2. The products do not rid the body of THC, as the makers and shills would like the consumer to believe. There is nothing that can permanently rid the body of THC except for time and fat-burning exercise.

Exercise is good if you have weeks or more to prepare. Remember though that when you burn fat cells, the THCA are being released into the bloodstream and end up in the urine. If youre home tests are coming up "dirty", and the scheduled U/A is 3 days away, youd want to stop all fat-burning activities and put your body in "storage mode" - be as lazy a possible to avoid releasing a bunch of THCA into the bloodstream, which will end up in the urine to be detected.

Sweating is hardly of any help because very little THC is excreted via sweat. You can sweat up enough to fill a water tower, yet the amount of THC being excreted would still be miniscule. The rest are being excreted via the urine and bowels.
