CT voiting in two days. 4/5/11
The Joint Committee on the Judiciary will be voting Tuesday on legislation that would make Connecticut the 16th state in the country to allow the physician-approved use of medical marijuana. Youâ??re receiving this email because your voice is particularly powerful â?? you are a constituent of one of the members of that committee. Please send your legislator an email now and ask him or her to vote "yes" on medical marijuana.
Medical marijuana legislation has already been approved by the Connecticut legislature once, in 2007, but it was vetoed by then-Governor Jodi Rell. With a new, more supportive governor in place this year, we expect that if a bill is passed, it will be signed.
After youâ??ve seen your email, post this link (Convio: Site Not Found) on your Facebook page, Twitter feed, or other social media sites, and ask your friends to do the same.
Thanks for all you do!
The link works click it anyways. Tell a friend.
Even if you dont live in CT find a person on whitepages.com and send the prewritten letter under their name.
