Only the next couple of days will tell if you "saved" them. Hopefully you did. It really sucks when things like this happen......

Anything above your plants should be tied and secured but things happen....

Agree 100%, that one was completely avoidable...the indoor equivalent of planting near a deer path. Fortunately the plants were topped early on and had(or in one case had)2 main stalks. It was a 2 person job, I used honey to cover the wounds. Then staked, taped, and finished with a bit of wire. One arm wilted completely within 2 hours, the remaining half along w/the other plants seem fine.

Bummer to work for 6 months, and then have a freak accident screw things up though.
