Only the next couple of days will tell if you "saved" them. Hopefully you did. It really sucks when things like this happen......

*cough* shoulda thought about that -

Anything above your plants should be tied and secured but things happen....

Agree 100%, that one was completely avoidable...the indoor equivalent of planting near a deer path. Fortunately the plants were topped early on and had(or in one case had)2 main stalks. It was a 2 person job, I used honey to cover the wounds. Then staked, taped, and finished with a bit of wire. One arm wilted completely within 2 hours, the remaining half along w/the other plants seem fine.

Bummer to work for 6 months, and then have a freak accident screw things up though.
sunbiz1 Reviewed by sunbiz1 on . Emergency Repair for Damaged Plants...911! Good morning all, Wish I could say my weekend started out better(can I swear here?), but I just had a pillow fall off a closet shelf right onto my plants(all in flowering stages). 2 of them are in bad shape, both main stems almost completely separated. I have staked them and then used floral wire to place it back as close as I could to their original positions. Then I used a small piece of tape to cover the wounds. I don't know what else to do at this point that would help. Any valid Rating: 5
