Can someone help me figure out what this is???

This plant is 8 weeks old 3 days into 12/12. FFOF with their nutrient trio been really good so far really bushy and green with fast growth. Indica with 400 watt HPS. I've been seeing these black dead looking spots and they kinda worry me. Any info. would be much appreciated.:thumbsup:

Copy n paste, answer all the questions. After you do this, we will be able to understand your growing conditions. It could be a couple different factors rolled into what you have going on. So after you post the trouble shooting form, we can help you......or we could just guess, but that wouldn't be very helpful......

What is your experience level? (first timer, novice, experienced...) basicly first timer with light experience in the past

Your Equipment:
.1) Type and wattage of lights. (MH, HPS, CFL's, tube fluorescents, LED's) HPS 400watt
.2) Distance from tops? 12 inches
.3) Reflector type? (cool tube set-up, bat wing, enclosed reflector, bare bulb...) bat wing
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? for the most part probably could use a bit more intake
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? yes
.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule? 12/12 400 watt hps kelvin??? don't know

Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil, (coco, peat based soilless...) and anything you've added to it. (vermiculite, perlite, worm castings...) FFOF
.8) Size of container. 5 gal
.9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings? yes bought that way

Your nutrients and water:
10) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered) What's it's ph before adjusting? tap ph is around 7
11) Method of checking water ph. (ph pen, test strips, aquarium test kit...) ph dual probe thingie
12) Method of adjusting water ph. (phosphoric acid, white vinegar, hydrated lime, PH Up...) N/A
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule. FF nute trio every other watering
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering? about every other day about 1/4 gallon
15) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...) not at the moment
16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate? they stay about 6.8-7 not to much fluctuation
17) What is your ingoing water's ph? ...your runoff ph? 7
18) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray? no

Your growroom:
19) Indoors or outdoors? indoor
20) What size of closet, room or hut?6x4x 6 tall
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off? on 80f with 47 rh off 71f with 54rh
22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom? I seen some little clusters of tiny holes on some of the bottom leaves no bugs other than a nat or mosquito

Your strain:
23) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?) Indica blueberry
24) From seeds or clones? clone
25) Is this an autoflower strain? I dont think so?

Looks cal/mag deficient, your PH is a bit high which can contribute to problems with nute locks.

If your using the FF line, make sure your following directions,.... I don't use it, but I've read the directions and IIRC it's one for the first few weeks, then another for the next couple, the the last for the last few weeks, not all 3 at once,.... I could be wrong tho, wouldn't be the first time!

12" might be a bit close for a 400w HPS as well, but I don't think that's the source of this particular problem, just for future reference.

I was told a similar thing but was told it may be because I use my local tap water and the ppm could be to high... Dose this sound like it could be something to consider?

Couple questions. Do you let the tap water sit out in an open container for at least a day before using? Are you mixing nutes with water every time you water/feed them? Did you flush your soil at all before starting the flower cycle? Do you have any way of measuring ppm's?

I think I can help you but I need to know this before.

No I didn't let the tap sit for a day or 2 and just got ahead of myself.... I only use the nutes every other watering. I did not flush before flowering didn't really know I needed to. I do not have a ppm reader. I will buy 1 if need be. I figured i would just start again with distilled water. What do you think?

Looks nute burn to me, flush, you have a mag lockout. I have been using water straight out of the tap without any issues, not even letting the chlorine dissipate. Using distilled or RO causes issues like this but in that case it would be lack of Mg in the water to cause the lack of Mg as the current lockout is doing
