guess i'll try indoors..
You can continue to grow year round with simply a south facing window and a dark closet. In fact, if you or someone else is available to move the plants during flowering twice daily you won't need a lighting set-up at all. I made one b/c having to be home at specific times was a problem. The following plants were all started last November and did pretty good all winter in the same windows as pictured. The flowering girl goes into a dark closet 14 hours per day now. My only drawback was plant size. During a winter grow, I only get 3 footers as opposed to my normal 5-6' outdoor grows. However, should you decide to start now the increased direct sun during the summer will have those girls wanting 5 gal. buckets in no time!.
During the winter, I simply left on the bedroom lights 2 hours past sunset to prevent premature flowering. About 4 weeks ago I shut the light off, then of course they started flowering on a natural 12/12 spring equinox sun. So now, I saved 1 as the mother and am forcing 2 more to finish rather than reverting them back to vegetative.\"There is nothing new under the sun\".
